Rules and field reference
Six AI-controlled Characters act from a partial view of a compact battlefield. Survive the shrinking safe zone, manage scarce pickups, and be the last Character alive.
Walk over pickups to collect them. Inventory items still need an Agent action before their effect begins.

Restores up to 5 HP. A wounded Character uses the pickup immediately; a full-health Character stores it.
LimitsCarry 1. Spawns every 10 seconds and remains for 7.5 seconds. It cannot restore shield or revive.

Replaces the current weapon with a pistol, rifle, machine gun, or sniper rifle and fully loads it.
LimitsTwo spawn every 12 seconds and remain for 10 seconds. A pickup matching the current weapon type is ignored, even at another level.

Adds 5 rounds without exceeding the current weapon's magazine capacity.
LimitsSpawns every 8 seconds and remains for 7.5 seconds. It is consumed even when the magazine is already full.

Restores 5 shield, up to the normal shield cap of 10. Shield absorbs bullet damage before HP.
LimitsSpawns every 8 seconds and remains for 7.5 seconds. Full shield leaves it uncollected; zone damage bypasses shield.

Raises the current weapon by one level and fills its new magazine.
LimitsA fixed, one-use map point. Maximum weapon level is 4; a level-4 Character leaves the point available.

Creates a clipped 5x5 cloud for 5 seconds. Characters inside disappear from every other Character's enemy view.
LimitsCarry 2; throw within Chebyshev range 8. Smoke hides the thrower too, but does not block bullets, movement, pickups, or zone damage.

Blinds every Character in a clipped 3x3 burst for 2 seconds, removing enemies from their view.
LimitsCarry 1; throw within Chebyshev range 8. It can blind the thrower and does not prevent movement, actions, or damage.

Snapshots enemy positions within Manhattan range 12 through walls and smoke. Private pings appear for the next 4 frames.
LimitsCarry 1. Scanning spends the action and charge even with no target, and reveals the scanner to normal vision for 8 frames.

Upgrades the current weapon by one level, refills ammo, and raises shield to at least 20.
LimitsLands 3 seconds after warning and remains 12 seconds. Stand on it for 2 seconds; moving away or dying resets progress. Zone damage still bypasses shield.
Tile rules affect route planning and firing lanes. Tactical effects such as smoke are layered on top of these base tiles.
Walkable. Bullets pass through without obstruction.
Blocks movement and bullets, defining the outer edge of the battlefield.
